My name is Ms. Merrill. I'm a new teacher at Lake Otis High
School. I'm a graduate of Eastern Washington University in Cheney, WA with a major in secondary education with
an emphasis in Health/Fitness and Chemistry. I hope to instill my knowledge and love of health and fitness in each
and everyone of my students through fun, thoughtful, well planned eductional experiences. I will do my very best
to incorporate the needs of every student to the best of my abilities and will do what ever it takes to ensure that all
my students succeed. My goals for this school year are to start an active outdoor recreation program through
the school that gives students an opportunity to explore and actively participate in live long outdoor activities such as:
rafting, rock and ice climbing, canoeing, kayaking, cross-country sking, snow-shoeing, backpacking, hiking, fishing, and winter
camping. I hope to become an important part of the teaching team here and look forward to having all of you in
my classes.
